DEBLASIO MUST STEP DOWN

June 8th, 2020

Rudy Giuliani has called for Mayor Bill de Blasio to step down as looting and violence continued for another day in New York City.

"Mayor de Blasio needs to step down," Giuliani said. "He is incompetent. We are losing a tremendous amount of property. We are seeing people damaged and hurt.”

Giuliani, who took over a city wracked with civil unrest and kept it at bay when he served as New York mayor from 1994-2001, continued: "Pretty soon, we're going to lose lives if this man doesn't get out of the way and let someone activate the police department."

According to Giuliani, de Blasio "has lost control of the mob and of the city" and is "falsely accusing the NYPD of taking excessive action."

While police cars were torched by rioters, de Blasio called for an investigation into two city police SUVs after video showed them driving into crowds of demonstrators in Brooklyn. He also called for the badge of an officer who appeared to point his gun at a protester. He imposed an 8 p.m. curfew in New York’s five boroughs in an effort to stem the vandalism, but the destruction continues.

Giuliani suggested that if de Blasio does resign as mayor after failing to protect the city, Gov. Cuomo should "remove" him.

President Trump urged de Blasio to call out the National Guard to protect New York as “lowlifes and losers are ripping the city apart.” He has promised to deploy the military to protect the public in American cities if the governors and mayors cannot maintain law and order.

Protect NYS is an organization of taxpayers and hard-working citizens who have had enough. They don’t agree with the politicians who have stood for the same failed policies generation after generation. We are joining together and we are making our voices heard, voices that don’t like the direction our country is taking. We are appalled by the violence in the streets and the lame reaction from the politicians and the media. We will bring you the Real News and not be afraid to tell it like it is.
