This privacy policy (“Policy”) explains how personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by PTNYS with respect to your use of the www.protectnys.com Web site and other PTNYS Web and mobile sites which display this Policy (the “Sites”) so you can make an informed decision about using the Sites. Submitted information is collected and used for PAC related purposes related to Protect New York State PAC supported campaigns and mission related initiatives. We also work closely with candidates, parties and allied organizations and may share some basic contact information with them, and they may contact you.

HOW PERSONAL INFORMATION IS USED

We use personal information collected through our Sites for the purposes described in this Policy or elsewhere on the Sites. For example, we may use personal information we collect:

If you sign an online petition, you understand that such petition is public information and that we may make the petition, and your name, city, state, and any comments provided in connection therewith publicly available. In addition, we may provide such petitions or compilations thereof, including your comments, name, city, and state to national, state or local leaders, or to the press.
